Built from a real setback.

AfriStack's founder built AfriKDP first, after a global publishing platform abruptly shut down his own author account — erasing years of work overnight. That experience became the reason AfriKDP exists: African authors and freelancers were being held back not by ability, but by infrastructure — payment barriers, platform restrictions, and fragmented tools never designed with them in mind.

AfriStack is the company built to do that more than once. AfriKDP came first; Skilluxo, our escrow-protected services marketplace, followed on the same underlying infrastructure, and AfriAssist after it.

Somewhere between the second product and the third, the interesting problem stopped being the products. All three needed the same intelligence underneath them — understanding a document, generating a draft, translating a passage, answering a question about a body of text. Building that three times would have been absurd. Building it once, properly, underneath all of them, is what turned AfriStack into an AI and infrastructure company. That programme is Omnis.

Our mission is to build intelligent technology and digital infrastructure that removes barriers to publishing, commerce, payments, professional work and software integration — enabling anyone to create, distribute and monetise digital products regardless of geography.

Increasingly that means owning the intelligence layer as well as the application layer, so the capability our users depend on is not something we rent from somebody else.
